A $405,000 offer was turned down for this "house," a former boat house, now a shell, on zero acres, in Ballard, 10 miles north of downtown Seattle. It needs a new roof and new wooden pilings to rest on, and after that, you'll have to fix it up. But boy, what a view!

As a friend of mine often says, "Are you needy or are you greedy?" I'm guessing that the owners of this so-called "house" who turned down an offer of 450k are in the latter category!
